But Millions of people will die!

Billions!

You know, I'm a deep down comics fanboy. I've got a feeling of fear in my gut after seeing the X3 clip.

But Superman Returns looks like it may be juuuust right.

It's really a fantastic trailer, isn't it? I'm not sure who's doing the better job of channeling: Brandon Routh channeling Chris Reeve, or Keven Spacey channeling Gene Hackman. Yet both seem to have their own spin as well (and in the case of Spacey, a much darker edge).

Yes, "LEX LUTHOR RETURNS" might be a great movie...

Both of them, X3 and Supes look disappointing to me already.

I've posted about this on my own LJ this evening.

I shall wait for reviews and first-weekend word-of-mouth before making a final decision on whether or not to see either X2 or SR. The entire season is a pile of "meh".

I love what we get to see of the airplane scene.

I'm feeling cautiously optimistic. At first, the whimiscally evil Luthor was a speedbump to my ideal of the physically imposing, seriously evil version I've come to accept as "the real one," but after Hackman's portrayal, how can you ever go back to a straight villain? I'm glad he's darker here, but I hope he's not too cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.
