I have a thing on my thumb.

It keep getting bigger. Bigger and bigger. A few weeks ago, it started out as some dots under the skin. Distant.

Now, it's getting closer. It's heading this way!

I can feel the bump growing. It's getting darker, and the dots are almost invisible. The skin around it is slightly waxy and shiny.

I have a doctor's appointment Monday. Maybe she'll cut it off. Maybe she'll lance it. Maybe I lose a thumb.

Who knows, eh?
